functions not implemented in matlab

I need polydif (not implemented in matlab) to implement one of overloads of polyder. So I have implemnted polydif and polysum interely in Polinomials class. I think it is not bad. But if it is not appropriate, may be it will be better to make them private. or add some prefix, for example '_' or something like this. Unfortunately in first case (make them private) we will have to remove tests for these functions.

Hi etendren,

I don't see any problem with making the additional functions publicly available.  It would be useful to have some brief documentation in the function reference in the wiki along the same lines as the matlab documentation - that is, description of syntax, brief description of what it does and a couple of simple examples to show the use.

It seems to me that if you need the function to implement your function then its probably likely that somebody else could want it too.
